Adobe Reader lets you open and read all your PDF documents on Android devices,that are stored on your memory card, present on the internet or available in as an email attachment. Besides being completely free and without advertising, the application does not require any special authorization, contrary to its competitors. From launch, the application will automatically load to search all documents on the removable memory card of your Android phone. In the "PDF Files" tab, it will load instantly and display the full list of detected PDF files, sorted by location. A second tab "Recently viewed", offer to find PDF documents that you have previously opened. Note that you will be able to erase this history, via the "Menu" button by selecting "Clear recent files".
Regarding navigation, the user experience is almost perfect. By default, the scroll will be vertically and pages are displayed continuously, from a simple slip, to either portrait orientation or landscape. In addition, you will be able to move quickly into your PDF documents using a horizontal slider. Your current position in the book will be displayed simultaneously by indicating the number of pages remaining in relation to the total number of pages. You can also search quick text throughout the document. Once you type your desired text and hit search, the application will give a search result with the marching texts highlighted in yellow.
In addition, you have three display modes. The "scroll continuously" is the one selected by default. With the mode "Screen Fit", the pages will be displayed one by one and will scroll horizontally from left to right. Extremely practical, the mode "Reflow text" will interest many people. Indeed, it will take care to accommodate the layout of your PDF documents to display the text font to a more readable size. For more comfort, you can increase or decrease the font size to suit your needs. Obviously, this display mode will make sense for reading books and text documents and naturally make it easy to display PDF magazines and newspapers. Still in terms of readability, it will be possible to zoom in on the document through a simple fast double "tap" on the screen. Finally, the application includes a Quick Share function to quickly send your PDF documents via Bluetooth, Gmail or Dropbox.
